German Deposit Protection
Information on deposit protection
Statutory Deposit Protection
In Germany, in accordance with the German Deposit Protection and Investor Compensation Act (Einlagensicherungs- und Anlegerentschädigungsgesetz), each individual is entitled to a mandatory basic coverage of up to €100,000. This coverage is administered by the Entschädigungseinrichtung deutscher Banken GmbH (EdB), which is the German Banking Compensation Scheme.
For more details, please refer to the depositor information sheet and visit www.edb-banken.de.
Voluntary Deposit Protection
Additionally, the deposits of every individual customer are secured through our membership in the Deposit Protection Fund of the Association of German Banks (Bundesverband deutscher Banken). The specific protection limit can be provided to the customer upon request from the bank. This information can also be found on the website of the Federal Association of German Banks. This protection extends to all Bank11 deposit products.
For further information, please contact the Federal Association of German Banks e.V. (Bundesverband deutscher Banken e.V.) at Burgstrasse 28, 10178 Berlin, or visit www.bankenverband.de.
